Practice

M. Guillermina Magallón concentrates her practice in business and commercial law, business organizations, energy, real estate, and international matters, with particular emphasis in representing both domestic and foreign entities and commercial enterprises in multinational transactions, including dealings with Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and other entities of the Mexican federal government.  In practice more than 35 years, Ms. Magallón has extensive experience handling international transactions and is frequently consulted in international commercial litigation, arbitration, and probate and trust disputes.

Ms. Magallón’s business, commercial and international practice focuses on organization governance, including partnership and corporate, drafting and construction of contracts, employment and labor issues, licensing, real estate, and business transactions.  She has also teamed with other firm lawyers to handle complex international litigation and arbitration proceedings in matters relating to commercial disputes, fiduciary rights and obligations, intellectual property infringement and misappropriation, negligence and malpractice actions, probate and trust disputes, and will contests. 

Ms. Magallón is a member of the Bars in Texas, the District of Columbia and Mexico. Her native language is Spanish, and she is fluent in English and French.
